Runs great on Windows Vista and Macintosh Leopard! (Minimum Win 95 or Mac 10.3.9)

"This is a remarkable tool that students can use to explore particle physics in an engaging, authentic way."
Tom Jordan, Quarknet Project Coordinator, Fermi National Accelerator Lab

Who says E=mc2 is not practical? Particle physicists use it all the time, and so will you. Prize-winning OnScreen Particle Physics™ supplies you with the software tools and examples you need to obtain a satisfying experience in the scientific analysis of realistic subatomic data. OnScreen Particle Physics™ deals not with abstractions derived from experiment, but with the simple particle events themselves. You make the measurements and apply the momentum/mass/energy equations (relativistic, but just algebra) to solve the puzzle of what kind of particles have left their tracks in the 3-D chamber. Three-dimensional simulations instead of bogus 2D ladders.

"The animation quality makes the software extremely engaging. The program is easy to navigate, and includes impressive graphics. OnScreen DNA makes a solid contribution to the repertoire of high quality classroom technology."
José Vázquez, NYU,
in The American Biology Teacher, September 2006

Engaging 3D animations in a tutorial framework teach the basics of how DNA is put together and how it works to make life possible. Find out more...

onscxreen president Science learning software should provide a fast track to insight that's hard to achieve in other ways, or what's the point? Ours does. To me, creating software is a way to share my passion for modern science by providing both a highly visual path to understanding and a powerful way to simulate experiments that might in the real world cost millions of dollars to perform. I developed OnScreen Particle Physics™ and OnScreen DNA™ because of my personal interest in seeing the important subject matter taught well and because the phenomena and structures are particularly well suited to 3D computer simulation. I was guided by my own experience of having learned best by doing and, in the case of OnScreen DNA, my determination to make sure it answered all of the questions that had occurred to me as I was learning the details of how DNA works. I also wanted to make it fun to use, and I believe I achieved that. Since everyone has a particular way of teaching and learning, I can't guarantee you'll like the software as much as others have, but I'll be happy to refund your purchase price if you're not satisfied. My satisfaction comes from knowing there is an excellent chance you will find the software useful, perhaps very useful and intellectually satisfying. It's inexpensive too, for all you get. I invite you to give it a try.
